Strengthening Digital and Technology Governance in EURO
Digital and Technology Governance in EURO, as outlined in the admin circular, is now fully implemented, ensuring clarity, alignment, and efficiency. With policy approval and a structured framework, it streamlines oversight, resource use, and initiative management.
Following the approval of the Digital & Technology Governance Policy by the EURO Regional Director and the Executive Council, and a successful soft launch last year, the governance framework is now fully implemented and in full effect. It establishes a structured, transparent, and cost-effective approach to digital and technology management, enhancing alignment, efficiency, and impact.
Why This Matters
This governance framework optimizes resources, enhances efficiency, and maximizes the impact of digital initiatives. By streamlining processes and eliminating duplication, it ensures that every investment – whether in time, budget, or technology – delivers greater value.
Key Benefits
Cost efficiency – Reduces redundant tools, promotes shared platforms, and centralizes purchasing, saving costs and effort.
Simplified processes – Establishes a clear, transparent system for submitting and assessing digital initiatives, reducing delays.
Better collaboration – Improves coordination across teams and prevents duplication of digital solutions.
Stronger oversight – Ensures resources are allocated effectively to high-impact initiatives through the Digital & Technology Steering Committee.
Enhanced security – Applies structured cybersecurity and quality controls to safeguard EURO’s digital environment.
